Is there anything harder than the first three days? Yes, the first full week, and of course, the first day after Christmas. Yes? Regardless, we made it!
Today, we received a handwriting grade, sort of. It was more of a warning, slash, would you please be neater grade. Regardless, it really wasn't a grade at all, except for completion. After that, we learned how to format our reading assessments, and we wrote one. While this was occurring, I finished my fluency tests.
After a fire drill, we took Mr. Bair's reading diagnosis test. We learned about being right brained, left brained, and we tried to determine whether or not you are visual or auditory learner. We also read a story, answered some questions, and in the process, we attempted to discover the reasons why reading is difficult for some of us. In the end, the bell won, so we'll finish on Monday.
This weekend, you are reading "The Bass, the River, and Sheila Mant", which can be found on page 27 of your textbook. Remember, we are going to dissect it thoroughly on Monday, so make certain you truly comprehend what you're reading. Let me know if you have any questions. Get some rest!
